About Kimiye Kawashima-Triggs
Kimiye (read Kimmy-eh, in true Japanese Canadian form) grew up in the suburbs outside of Vancouver, Canada. Driven by a deep desire to find real magic in our mundane reality and fueled by coffee and jellybeans, she traveled extensively, lived in multiple countries, and became a well-respected teacher of English as a Foreign Language. Now she has settled back on the west coast with her spouse and kids, instilling in them an understanding of the power of dreams and the freedom gained through words and imagination.
