D. M. Needom has been spinning tales since her school days, scribbling them down in notebooks as a teen. While she once rocked out as a bassist and strutted her stuff as a lingerie model on TV, she ultimately found her calling in the world of music and film. Luck has been on her side, as she snagged a gig as a radio host and even made a cameo in My Best Friend’s Wedding (although let’s be real, she was just a blur). But her passion for the industry propelled her to work as an actress and line producer on a quirky sitcom, which she counts as one of her all-time fave jobs. Originally hailing from New Orleans, she now calls the Northwest Burbs of Chicago home, living with her King Charles Cavalier, Cami, and her two shelter babies, Chester Kitty and Beau Bear, a black Cocker Spaniel. After finding true love with her second husband, they enjoyed 16 years of bliss together until he passed away from a long-term illness. Last year she uprooted her life and then was smacked down with a cancer diagnosis, which she is happy to say she is now in remission. When she’s not working on her next book, she taps into her psychic powers as a gifted intuitive medium, Tarot and Oracle card reader. She’s been wowing folks in the Chicago area with her readings for over 30 years. Plus, she’s the host of the Better To...Podcast with D.M. Needom. ****Side note I don’t use AI to write.
